A long weekend traveling around SW England, including time with the Randalls in Hitchin, and trips to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Glastonbury, Bath, and Bletchley Park.

The Randalls took us to visit a lavender farm near their home. You can see sunflowers and wheat in the background too. Note the saturation in this picture is cranked way up just because it looks cool.

There are tons of bees in the lavender. Walking through it you hear a constant buzzing from thousands of little bee wings.

The bees come in all different sizes. This was a particularly fat one.

There are lots of other critters that like the lavender too. This looks sort of like a ladybug, but I am informed that it is a horrible pest which is not a ladybug.

This will be the cover of the fall Land's End catalog.
