This is a working replica of the Colossus, one of the very first computers ever made. It was built during World War II in order to crack German codes, so the Allies could read their secret messages. The Germans thought that no one could ever crack their codes, but they didn't count on the British building an electronic machine to do it! I learned a lot about the Colossus from the squirrel behind me who helped build it.
